- Roxy RichardsonCo-Owner, Head Muay Thai Coach, SFG II Kettlebell Instructor, and Pn1 Nutrition Coach
Roxy Richardson, ACE CPT, Pn1, SFG II is the co-Owner of F5 and head Muay Thai coach. She has over 10,000 hours of hands on client training experience in fitness, Muay Thai, strength and conditioning and nutrition.
Roxy discovered her love for Muay Thai in 2002. She got certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 2005 and dedicated her life to fitness and health. She is also an SFG Level 2 Kettlebell Inctructor and a Pn1 Nutrition Coach.
In Muay Thai Roxy held the IAMTF Women's Lightweight belt as an amateur from 2008-2009 and turned pro an undefeated champion. She was the fist female fighter in the United States to fight a 5 round full rules Muay Thai bout, when she made her pro debut in 2009. Check out Roxy in action here.

Nathan was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He never played sports growing up, but was a serious skateboarder. He relocated to Northern Virginia in 2010 where he found a love for strength training and became Personal Trainer. He's a NESTA & NCCPT Certified CPT, and NESTA Certified Muay Thai Fitness Instructor.
Nathan started training Muay Thai in 2012 under the guidance of Mark DeLuca at Yamasaki Academy. In that time he had an impressive 12 fights. He moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to coach at F5 and spend more time focusing on his training to become a professional fighter. He says he loves Muay Thai because it’s helped him get through the rough times in his life and has molded him into a better person.
- Patrick WebbNASM Certified Personal Trainer, SFG I, Strength and Conditioning Coach
Patrick is passionate about kettlebells and strength training. He always enjoyed sports as a high school athlete, but it wasn’t until he discovered kettlebell training that he found his love for strength training and helping others find their strength.
Patrick earned his SFG I in May 2015 and is currently a strength coach, programmer and personal trainer. He designs effective, fun, customized programs for clients and coaches classes with inspiration and compassion.
A technical and patient instructor, Patrick understands how to teach a variety of different individuals how to get strong and fit.
- Christian BlackburnNASM Certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach
Christian Blackburn is a certified personal trainer through the a National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has relied on a strong foundation of corrective exercise while developing into a strength and conditioning coach, ensuring the safety of his students.
Christian first fell in love with fitness on the streets of Chicago. His fondness for running developed into a passion which then, as for most runners, developed into a series of injured knees, hips, and a sore back. Because he was too stubborn to give up running he decided to take a deeper interest in his overall health and thus a trainer was born. Since then, running has taken a backseat to Christian's new love: the deadlift. But you can still see him mapping a route around the west side every once in a while.
Christian has trained a wide array of students, ranging from professional athletes to those coming straight out of rehab. He is constantly seeking to learn new skills and techniques to add to his repertoire with which he can lift his students to their potential.

Stephanie always enjoyed playing sports growing up. She found strength training when she was in her early 20's living in New York and was looking for an outlet from the stress of her corporate sales job.
She sees strength training as a way of meditation to clear the mind and be in the present. Along her fitness journey, she developed a passion for health and helping people and decided to leave the corporate world for fitness.
She is now a NASM certified Personal Trainer. Her goals are to constantly improve her skill set as a coach and to be able to be of greater service to others on their journey toward optimal health.
- Dustin ShawJiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Amateur Muay Thai Fighter, Co-Owner, Muay Thai Instructor
Dustin Shaw has been regularly competing in the grappling world for over 10 years and holds a brown belt under Rubens Cobrinha Charles. He began his training in high school with wrestling and judo, then discovered Jiu Jitsu and was immediately hooked. Training initially with the Aloisio Silva team in the south bay, then later with Chute Boxe In Hollywood, followed by 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu and finally finding his home with Team Alliance and Cobrinha BJJ.
His passion for Muay Thai developed when he met Roxy in 2009 and started training his striking seriously. He currently competes in both Muay Thai and BJJ. His eye for the fight game and his extensive athletic past make him a technical, motivating and challenging teacher. He is constantly striving to better himself and his students with new innovative drills and programming.

Tyler Schaeffer is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by The NSCA, a USA Weightlifting (USAW) Level I coach, SFG Level II Certified Kettlebell instructor, and SFL Level 1 instructor.
Growing up in Las Vegas, NV, Tyler played football and baseball at the varsity level while working with several strength coaches and personal trainers in order to maximize his potential on the field. The work in the gym paid off with the opportunity to play football at the college level for Grinnell College in Iowa. After college Tyler decided to pursue his passion of fitness and athletics by helping others achieve their physical goals.
Tyler helped build F5 Strength Program from it's humble beginnings in 2011. Although he is retired from coaching and currently resides in Omaha, Nabraska where he owns a bar, he still competes in powerlifting and is a remote consultant for Function 5, helping with programming, staff training and athletic performance.
- Anthony RistowMuay Thai Instructor and Former Amatuer Fighter
Anthony started training Muay Thai in 2005 under Roxy Richardson and Chris Reilly. Over the years he has continued to improve his skills with regular training and sparring.
Anthony helps the F5 fight team train for their fights and teaches class on Monday nights. You will also see him lifting heavy around the gym, as he walks the walk and maintains an active lifestyle, even with his busy schedule of writing, teaching and bartending.

Kimura had a rough start to life growing up on the streets of Los Angeles. Her early years of hunting for food and fighting off other stray dogs and cats earned her street cred and gave her the supreme confidence she has today.
At only a few months of age Kimura was adopted by F5 owners Roxy and Dustin; it was then that she began her ninja training and became the rare feline athlete she is today. Her favorite activities include stalking, pouncing, tire jumps and agility training and of course stretching. Her Small Group Ninja Classes are held Fridays at midnight and are by invitation only.
